Senior Tax Accountant (Santa Rosa Office)
Andersen & Company LLP, second largest CPA firm in the North Bay and a leading provider of business
consulting and accounting services for more than 27 years, has an immediate opening for a senior tax
accountant with three to five years’ experience in the following accounting specialties:
- Individual
- Corporate
- Partnership
- Fiduciary return management, preparation and review
About the Opportunity

are looking for a motivated individual who wants to move his/her career path forward. The senior tax accountant
position is a full-time position in the Santa Rosa office that requires the ability to work hard, get along with
others and maintain a professional attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary returns
- Consultation and analysis of client financial data and accounting/tax issues
- Preparation of work papers and spreadsheets
- Review of and response to correspondence from the IRS or other governmental agencies
- Creation of schedules using Excel
- Occasional business valuation and forensic accounting work
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license (desired)
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Good time management
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Ability to handle multi-tasking and a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Prosystems tax software and Engagement software
