Marie D. Scherf

CPA

Marie Scherf is a senior manager with Andersen & Company LLP. Her practice focuses on consulting with individuals and companies in the areas of tax, accounting and business management. She also assists individual clients with their estate and trust planning needs.

Marie joined Andersen & Company LLP in 1996 and has more than 20 years' experience in both public and private accounting. Prior to Andersen, Marie worked as a tax manager with Dunlap & Bishop Accountancy Corporation in Corte Madera and as a staff accountant with A. Avery & Company CPAs in Spokane, Washington.

Among the industries she has served over the course of her career are construction, wineries, restaurants, and retail operations. She also provides financial compliance services for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Marie earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating with high honors and is working towards her Master of Business in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
