Claudia J. Stern
CPA
Claudia is a senior analyst with Andersen & Company LLP. In that role, she works extensively with clients, assisting them with business valuation, merger and acquisition activity, and management consulting. She also regularly collaborates with the legal community, providing advice and counsel in the areas of complex partnership, corporate transactions and dissenting shareholder actions, as well as providing mediation services in marital dissolution cases.
Prior to joining Andersen, Claudia was a staff accountant at Pohl, McNabola, Berg and Company in San Francisco and served as a financial and business planning consultant to telecommunications and software companies.
A graduate of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a degree in physics, Claudia also earned a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) and a member of the Business Valuation and Family Law sections of CalCPA's Litigation Sections.
Her accomplishments include authorship of the articles, “Unexamined buy-sell agreements can bear risks,” for the North Bay Business Journal, and “Buy-sell pacts: Danger in the drawer,” for the East Bay Business Times.
