SANTA ROSA, Calif., March 18, 2008 – Andersen & Company LLP, a leading provider of business consulting and accounting services for more than 27 years in the North Bay, is pleased to announce that Liz Garcia, Ethan Lee and Alissia Pope have earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. The firm has 21 CPAs and 40 total staff professionals in three strategic locations including San Francisco’s One Maritime Plaza and historic downtown Petaluma.

Garcia is a senior accountant in the Auditing & Accounting and Strategic Tax Planning & Compliance practice groups. Prior to joining Andersen, Garcia worked for a large regional accounting firm, where she headed the accounting team devoted to the auditing and tax needs of a large, commercial real estate builder. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Westminster College and a master's degree in business administration from Sonoma State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Lee is an analyst in the Valuation & Litigation practice group specializing in performing detailed financial investigations, business valuations, analysis of major transactions and marital dissolutions. Previously, Lee served as a forensic accountant in the Litigation Support and Valuation Services practice of Los Angeles’ CBIZ & Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting summa cum laude from Brigham Young University in Hawaii (2005). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Currently, he is working toward completion of an Accreditation in Business Valuation from the AICPA.
Pope is a senior accountant in the Auditing & Accounting, Strategic Tax Planning & Compliance and Business Advisory Services practice groups. Professional service providers represent a primary segment of her client base. She is a graduate of Sonoma State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
